Planning / Code Enforcement Officer

The Planning Department is the key contact point for all land use development inquiries in the Town of Rangeley. The purpose of the Planning Department is to coordinate growth and development in Rangeley and protect the lives, safety, and property of all citizens of our community through the enforcement of local, state and federal laws, regulations and ordinances.

The Planning Department is responsible for:
  • Permitting and inspection of any new structure
  • Plumbing and septic system installation in the Town of Rangeley
  • Providing staff support to:
    • Comprehensive Plan Committee
    • Ordinance Committee
    • Planning Board
    • Zoning Board of Appeals
